Printing

Scanner Settings

You can make advanced scan settings with the Settings (Custom Scan) dialog box displayed from My Image Garden. When you select Custom from the Settings (Scanning from a Computer) menu, available setting items vary by item type.

Specify the resolution when scanning documents, magazine pages, or other large images to create high-quality scans. The higher the resolution, the better the quality.

Select this checkbox to automatically save the scanned files in a folder with a date stamp in the specified destination folder after scanning. The folder is created in the specified folder name with a format such as “20XX_01_01” (Year_Month_Date). This option appears only when JPEG/Exif or Auto is selected in Data Format.

Select this checkbox to reduce the moisture effect in scans of reflective disc labels and other objects with a glossy surface. When this option is selected, a scan may take longer and the image might not be saved correctly.
