SafeNet Token Driver:
In order to use SafeNet Token on Windows, you need to install SafeNet Token Driver. The installer will install the required file on your computer. After the installation is complete, you can use the drivers to access your Windows system. During the initialization process, you need to enter the password that you’ve created when you first installed the program. The password is not the same as the password for the Entrust Web site. After the installation, you need to create the certificate on your token. This process is simple and will only take a few minutes. Once you’ve done that, you can start using it.
To install SafeNet Token Driver, you need to download DSC from the Entrust Web site. After downloading, you need to unplug your Safenet eToken. Next, you have to install the SafeNet Driver. After the installation is completed, you should configure your signing certificate. Then, you can connect your SafeNet Token to Windows. Then, click on the ‘Install Now’ button to continue the installation.
Downloading procedure of Driver:
After downloading the DSC, you need to install the Token driver. Make sure to unplug your Safenet eToken before you run the installer. After that, you need to install the SafeNet Authentication Client. Double-click the installer to install it. You’ll need to specify the signing certificate in order to use SafeNet Token Driver on Windows. After installing the eToken, you can use the eToken to access your PC.
The installation process for SafeNet Token Driver:
You can install the SafeNet driver on Windows using the driver that came with your computer. To install SafeNet Token, you must first download the SafeNet Authentication Client. Then, you’ll need to run the installation wizard and install SafeNet Token. Once you’ve finished the installation, you can choose the type of installation for your computer. After that, you can configure the signing certificate.
Restart the system OS after the complete installation:
Once you’ve installed SafeNet, you’ll need to install the DSC driver for Windows. To install the driver, you’ll need to unplug the Safenet eToken. Once you’ve installed the driver, you’ll need to configure the signing certificate. You can then start the installer. Then, you’ll need to select the signer’s password. Once you’ve configured your Windows eToken, you’re ready to install the SafeNet Token.
Token Driver for Windows:
After you’ve installed the Token driver, you need to download the SafeNet Authentication Client for Windows. Once you’ve downloaded the DSC, double-click it to configure the signing certificate. If you’ve installed the SafeNet driver, you’ll need to connect the USB to your Windows operating system. When you do, you’ll be able to access the device. You’ll need the DSC driver to configure the signer certificate.
If you’re using the Entrust certificate, you must enter a new password for the Entrust software to recognize it. The initialization process is triggered by a warning message that says “The contents of the device will be deleted if the security certificate is not initialized.” After the initialization process is complete, the driver will show a success message. Then, you’ll need to re-enter the password.
